Being and non Being
We join spokes together in a wheel, but it is the center hole that makes the wagon move.
We shape clay into a pot, but it is the emptiness inside that holds whatever we want.
We hammer wood for a house, but it is the inner space that makes it livable.
We work with being, but non-being is what we use.
In our life we are always looking at what is around us and believe what we see there is what is useful. Yet as the quote tells us how we choose to use something can be viewed from a very different perspective. We can choose to draw from innovation, from a place of inspiration that moves well beyond the norm and many will say amazing, yet we know that living in that quiet space of non-being all possibilities exist.
