The mind is like a kid in a candy store

The mind is like a kid in a candy store. It is constantly searching, even striving for more.  Always eating and never resting; it doesn’t even realize it is the source of its problems.  The mind has been taught to ignore the feelings inside its feedback system, the human body.  However, these feelings inside us are the entry point to balance.  When we are allowed to experience our feelings at the signal level, the sensation level, we achieve balance.  The mind learns, with a bit of practice, that feeling is what sets us free and shows us the path to bliss. ~Alain & Jody Herriott

Thought for the Week

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

So much of our life is defined by stress, what we want and what we don’t want. The more stress, the more resistance we experience about everything we do.  As we unfold, through unwinding our resistance, we begin to realize that the less we resist, the more we open. In time we are living the maxim, “when nothing is done, nothing is left undone.”  Now we are balance, a never ending now of being. Enjoy the journey. ~Alain & Jody Herriott
