As we witness the incredible dramas
As we witness the incredible dramas that are taking place at the moment, Texas, Puerto Rico, Las Vegas, it is very easy to get caught up and really lost in these experiences. The mind turns them over and over and keeps triggering the same feelings and we experience ourselves as trapped in this intensity. While that is certainly how most people experience these catastrophes it is not the way we have to. We could choose to unwind the sensations underneath the mental drama and become centered.
