There are three

“There are three things extremely hard: steel, a diamond, and to know one’s self.” Benjamin Franklin

We are taught from an early age try really hard in life.  Most everything we read and hear compels us to overcome something in order to achieve this “goal”.  But knowing oneself is about being, not working hard.  It is something you get as you unfold the resistances that show up in your life.  This is so counter-intuitive that many find it hard to believe.  What an amazing creation, that makes us reach when reaching is what is in the way.  Again, we encourage you to feel; it is the entry point to freedom and knowing oneself.  ~Alain & Jody Herriott

You speak of

You speak of your fears, I hear your opportunities.  You speak of your limitations, I hear what you might do next.  Every limitation, every fear and every sense of lack is an arrow pointing at salvation.  The only real question is are you willing to enter the unknown and be reborn?  ~Alain & Jody Herriott

People don’t want

“People don’t want their lives fixed. Nobody wants their problems solved. Their dramas. their distractions. Their stories resolved. Their messes cleaned up. Because what would they have left? Just the big scary unknown.”  ― Chuck Palahniuk, Survivor

This is so wonderfully true.  But you see as it truly is the entry point to the unknown it is full of possibility.  We choose to go here, to enter the unknown and spread our wings and fly for this is where true freedom lies.  —Alain & Jody Herriott

The eye–

“The eye— it cannot choose but see; we cannot bid the ear be still; our bodies feel, where’er they be, against or with our will.”  ― William Wordsworth, Lyrical Ballads

Life and the feelings within it are constantly being stimulated; you have the opportunity to open your senses and embrace what you feel.  This path brings inner peace, balance and greatness.  ~Alain & Jody Herriott

We are made

We are made up of patterns, some are habits from our parents.  Some are from our teachers and still others from friends.  These patterns gradually become habits and we tend to follow them because they felt so right then; whether or not the still do today.  You can unwind these habits.   Feel and take back your power from these limiting patterns and in so doing find a whole new amazing you on the other side.  Dare to be amazing, you are worth every moment of the effort.  ~Alain & Jody Herriott

You crewe your

“You create your own universe as you go along.” –Winston Churchill

This is it!  This is exactly what we do.  Though we may deny that we are doing it everything around us is a creation of our consciousness.  If you find yourself in a universe that isn’t what you want; then feel your way to freedom and create anew.  Every moment in the universe you find yourself in is your entry point.  ~Alain & Jody Herriott

Every time you feel

Every time you feel yourself being pulled into other people’s drama, repeat the words:  Not my Circus, not my monkeys  — Polish proverb via Nancy O’Fraley.

This is a fun one.  This too is a way to break the mesmerization of Maya. It helps to bring you back to who you are versus getting caught up in the game.  We suggest you go into your sensations as well.  This will deepen the experience and set you even more free.  ~Alain & Jody Herriott
