Dancing and Awakening

….and those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.  Nietzsche

When awakening many things will fall away and some will be added.  Those that are added do not require a memory, analysis or to be taken care of.  They will exist because you are no longer resisting their presence.  For you are no longer dancing to the illusion, only your song.  ~Alain & Jody Herriott

Awakening. What does it mean

Awakening.  What does it mean? For us, within the experience of The Wonder Method exercises, it allows us to have a quiet mind, peacefulness and a sense of balance and wholeness.  Hand in hand with this is allowing ourselves to feel the sensations within knowing they lead us to an ever deeper experience of balance and happiness.  We encourage you to feel what is inside you and let it carry you to ever greater fulfillment. ~Alain & Jody Herriott

The Wonder Method

We are often asked just what is The Wonder Method?  Probably first and foremost it is a subtle, simple, yet counter intuitive way to become incredibly present.  Other names for this might be “awake”, “grounded”, or “balanced” within ourselves.  Beyond this it is a model that can be used to offer healing to others and to unwind limiting beliefs and experiences until calm and balance are experienced within us.  If we take it further it is also a way to step beyond the common view of reality or Maya and begin to live in satisfaction and joy.  This all starts with feeling at the sensation level and everything evolves from there.  We encourage you to feel; it is wonderfully satisfying. ~ Alain & Jody Herriott

On the Path

Most everyone that is on the path to self knowledge (the art of being) is doing so from the perspective of trying to achieve it.  Interestingly, it is this attitude that most holds us back from arriving at “Being”.  We must also remember that it is an evolving process, not just an end result. Many believe that we will arrive and that will be it.  In our experience, this is not the case, we are a constant evolution of awakening.  Today’s understanding is tomorrow stepping stone to more awareness and due to its subtlety, more Being.   Enjoy the journey.  ~Alain & Jody Herriott

Awakening and Self-Realization

“Your unrest is the last cramp in your legs as you climb this mountain.  Rest awhile if like. But do not return to your old house.  It is not your home any longer.” –Shyamananda on maya, self-realization, bliss.

Awakening is done in stages and the action of doing so may seem difficult, like climbing a mountain.  This is only because you believe that awakening requires you to strive and often suffer in order to achieve it.  Through feeling our feelings and allowing the integration of body and mind that results from this action, we arrive.  Believing that we need to strive is simply a view from the corridors of maya.  Relax, open and become, realization has been with you all along.  –Alain & Jody Herriott

Awakening, experiencing Enlightenment

Awakening, the act of experiencing Enlightenment.  Awakening occurs as we process the conflicting feelings inside us.  On the other side of each unraveling is more of who we are. As each resistance is unwound we experience greater presence and once enough pieces are integrated we awaken.  Now we understand our unlimited state and our connection to everything is self evident.  ~Alain & Jody Herriott

Complete and Whole

As we continue to process our emotions, there comes a point where we realize that we are complete and whole.  Yes, life continues to evolve. Change is a constant in our lives, but these changes serve to open us further, even as they challenge us to step ever further down the road of awakening.  So we become. Whatever we choose to do in life unfolds before us and we know we are enough to meet any challenge.  ~Alain & Jody Herriott
